The Preus Museum - National Museum of Photography (Norway) acquires two artworks for its permanent collection from the series “Interferential Still Life. Rebirth of the Lippmann Plate"

Two artworks from the exhibition “INTERFERENTIAL STILL LIFE. REBIRTH OF THE LIPPMANN PLATE” have arrived at their destination, having been acquired for the permanent collection of the PREUS MUSEUM, NORWAY NATIONAL MUSEUM FOR PHOTOGRAPHY.
These two pieces are part of the exhibition “Rebirth of the Lippmann Plate” di Andrea Salvà curated by Carla Cardinaletti and produced by 00A, featuring Nicola Morandini and Massimo Giovannini.
They are now in the expert hands of Jens Gold and the museum team, where they will find their place within this prestigious institution.

Il Preus Museum - National Museum of Photography (Norway) acquisisce per la sua collezione permanente due opere della serie "Interferential Still Life. Rebirth of the Lippmann Plate"

Sono partite e arrivate a destinazione le due opere della mostra “INTERFERENTIAL STILL LIFE. REBIRTH OF THE LIPPMANN PLATE””, acquisite per la collezione permanente dal PREUS MUSEUM, NORWAY NATIONAL MUSEUM FOR PHOTOGRAPHY.
Ora, nelle mani esperte di Jens Gold e del team del Museo, troveranno il loro spazio espositivo in questa prestigiosa istituzione.
Le due opere fanno parte della mostra “Rebirth of the Lippmann Plate” di Andrea Salvà a cura di Carla Cardinaletti e prodotta da 00A Centro per la Fotografia Contemporanea, con Nicola Morandini e Massimo Giovannini.

All’insegna della fotografia a colori del Novecento l’artista Andrea Salvà incontra nel suo laboratorio meranese il ricercatore Jens Gold del Preus Museum per dialogare intorno alla rinascita della fotografia interferenziale. Jens Gold sta portando avanti la sua ricerca di dottorato presso la Facoltà di Studi Umanistici dell’Università di Oslo dal tema: “The Lippmann Interferential Colour Photography: Materiality and Treatment Challenge”. Dalla Norvegia all’Alto Adige, il ricercatore di origini germaniche, ha percorso mezza Europa per incontrare l’artista altoatesino “che è tra pochi al mondo in grado, come il suo collega portoghese Felipe Alves, di maneggiare e governare la complessa tecnica della fotografia interferenziale per realizzare delle opere d’arte”.
